new addt' to this weekends tourney in Cincy --OC Outrage got in the 16u --Our team is aiming high this weekend 95's playing up in the 18u --We get Indy Dreams 18u and Lasers Acedemia Gold 18u on Sat. Yikes ! Good deal OC outrage on getting in this tourney. Competition in the 16u is pretty good. maybe a couple easy games but some solid teams also. Lasers Gold are hosting he tourney in Goshen Oh. in east cincy. MD

Dan, I thought the T.D. said no switches were being made? I hope I have the correct schedule and that they get their crap together. Too many extensions. Don't think it is over money do you? lol The BlueGrass Blaze from Louisville are in this and could be a better team than the OC Outrage. That's not to take anything away from the Outrage but they haven't exactly played the schedule the Blaze have. Hats off to both for trying to put quality teams out there to represent KY.

Good luck on your side. Still scratching my head as to why they would want to jump into that fire but more power to you. See you out there.

Dad-I think (I'm guessing ! ) we got in after taking a hard look at the 16u field, there were several teams that very were solid opponents but a couple that we really would not have wanted to play. So after our last tourney that was nearly a washout I think the staff just really want to see how our players react playing against girls that are flat out better and more experienced than us. After all , it's fall ball, time to learn who competes well against the best .

The roster for Laser gold 18u is unreal . And I expect indy dreams to be just as good. Hopefully it doesn't get ugly . I don't think it will with our # 1 throwing. bad new this am , kid is home from school with the pukes wonderful ! Dan

Dan , Just looked at your schedule again and it switched like ours did. Seems like the easier games for the Doom disappeared. Hope you all bring back the older pitcher again that was used two weeks ago against those older teams. Who knows, if we wait long enough the schedule may change again lol

I am thrilled that there is a six hour break in between our games Sunday when I could be at home for the 4 p.m. football games. They gave the out of area teams privelage while not thinking that some of their "local" teams have out of area players that would like a head start as well. The all mighty $ at work of course.

We are still rotating people into positions they don't have much experience with just to see if someone excels where they don't normally play or try a spot that one wants that they don't usually play. Hitting has stunk as a whole. Fielding worse at times. There was one lineup that worked really well but I have a feeling that will be the lineup for next summer and not in the fall.

Good luck this weekend and come see me for the dvd of the game you missed. I will be in my usual area with recorder in hand.

Hope your dd gets better! Solid player.

Not having our normal # 2 hurts some but thats life , with other activities, flu, etc etc I'm sure other teams will be missing players as well. I had high hopes of maybe a 2-1 on saturday but that ain't lookin so good after the schedule change.

The guest player won't be with us this weekend but big Em' will be back and healthy. pitching from 43 ft for the 1st time. Katie was still asleep this am, don't know if she is better or not. Dan

Our younger Doom team gets the breeze in the am at 11;00am. They are really solid for 13u's but can be suceptable to playing poorly. (terrible on sat in So Carolina , wonderful on sunday) pretty dang good #1 pitcher but they are shopping for another arm to go along with her. So if the breeze is stronger than OC outrage I'g have to say they should come out on top in that affair. weather is clearing, kid quit throwing up --we are good to go !

OC ourage 16u did well --they went 3-0 including 2 games that ended 1-0. They beat our doom 95 team 1-0 in the 5pm game . it got COLD ! wierd game , our pitcher had 20 K's but we had no energy or spunk on O. they used a walk , sac, passed ball and a squeeze to score a run . good gritty performance by them , they were overmatched at the plate but did the other things better than us to get the W.
We got a huge win over laser gold 18u in the early game and just kinda quit after that. Indy dreams was impressive , they beat us 4-0. Best teams I saw was dreams , Laser's 94 (LOADED !!!!!!) and laser gold . gold- dreams played to 0-0 tie.

OC Outrage '94 went 5-0.

Cincy Storm 1-0
Cincy Ice 4-1
Cincy Doom 1-0

1st year 16U OC Outrage '94 is on a roll early. They won the 16/18 Georgetown College Tournament 2 weeks ago. They will also play in a 18U at Indiana University Southeast games in two weeks.

Okay...i am reaching out here for all your advice and input. I was approached by several coaches last year that they needed more USFA tourney's out in the owensboro/bowling Green/louisville area......so I went out and got dates out there this fall and it looks like this might be the 2nd tourney in a row that isn't going to make. But yet I pull up Tennessee's tourney's and see several KY teams playing down there. I guess I am looking for input as to what I can do to help get some more tourney's in that area? Any input is great...thanks Scott

We Played our last fall tournament this weekend in Clarksville, TN. Once again they combined the 16U and 18U. Very, Very cold and windy!Magic 16U lost to the Fury in winners bracket finals 4-3, but beat Team Worth out of Nashville 7-2 to get back to finals and beat the Fury 3-2 and 7-3 to win it. Our freshman catcher hit her first homerun and it was a grand slam. would have liked to played 1 or 2 more tournaments but most of our team plays basketball too. Let me know what eveyone else is doing.
