DD played pick up this weekend local in Lexington and I figured it would be good thing since reading that we'd be seeing some decent pitching and get in some hitting.I also figured since USFA was at 43 ft so would NSA.Nope.Wondering if anyone else played this weekend and was it at 43 Ft. Decent Tournament,Fun.Just wondering when everyone(Travel) would be transitioning to 43 Ft. Best pitchers seen this in this Tourney were 2 13 yrs old one out of Scott Co.,one out of Taylor Co. I also witnessed a 13 yrs old Meade Co girl gunning runners from her knees,Yikes!! The L'Ville Majics were the stand out Tm .They came in with 2 Flame throwers there #1.Wondering why more was on the Boards for the L'Ville Magics this summer clearly competetive and strong 16U Tm.

Traditionaly the Louisville Magic hasn't been much over the years if that's who you are talking about. Maybe it was different this summer or maybe they borrowed some players. Could you mean the Majestixx? Don't know if they are still around though.

USFA in TN was 43 ft. I have not heard anything official out of anyone, but USFA. I sure hope everyone goes to 43. |

MC Magic played a USGF tournament in Camden, TN and they played at 43ft. Our pitcher was probably the slowest girl there but had the most movement. Won semi-final game 1-0 and finals 3-0. Also saw the Riney girl from catholic pitching for team fury.

Tenn Tms always have alot of Heat especially at the higher age groups. How'd you all fair against the Catholic Pitcher?? She has some decent heat but, still hitable.Who'd you guys pitch? Your P/U at ASA State had some good heat I thought, of course,we were in a different pool, from you the Crush and Stunners,I was glad, all you Big Dogs put each other out.We got ousted at the end with a Dbl Loss at the end.

Hey CC we beat Riney 4-3 in second tourney game. She has decent speed, her out pitch is definately the change though. We thru the girl from Reidland all 7 games (5 Sat and 2 Sunday) Our other pitcher from last year could still play 14U another year and opted to do so with another team.

Too bad thats a tough decision for kids and parents every year, whether to stay down or move up.The plus and minus game, weighing against what best in the long run.I hate to see her stay down she is a tough cookie.I know it's a great loss for your group.I wish her and family well ,we'll see her soon enough.
