Looks like four teams from KY will be participating in the ASA Northern Nationals in St.Louis next week. KY Impact, Louisville Stunners-Red,Bluegrass Blaze, and Lyndon Lightning according to the website. Over 60 teams as of now. Where are other 16s going?

I read on another message board that a 14U Louisville Lady Slugger player was injured/became ill in a Ohio tournament last week. Parents from the opponent were asking if she was okay and to pass along prayers. Anybody know anything about this so I can pass the info on?

The player for the Sluggers spent the night in a Columbus hospital and tested out as being fine and went home the next day. The problem resulted from a migraine they believed.

Unfortunately she had another problem since returning home and has stopped playing for the summer season. Parents rightfully want to get the issue corrected.

I was there and it was scary....Passed out in middle of a game, then suffered a seizure. Took the ambulance forever to get there. She did not wake up the entire 10-15 minutes while waiting on the ambulance.

Good luck to all those team from Kentucky!

Thanks for the update. I will pass along the info. My prayers are with that young lady.

I second the good luck to all KY teams-except when they play my daughter's team that hails from Ohio

I passed the message along about the condition of the Sluggers player-more or less copied and pasted actually. The Stingrays said to tell her family that she is in their prayers.

64 four teams in now with Louisville Stunners-Gramig now joining the KY squads that have entered.
