Does anyone have the complete results from the ASA 14U state tournament in Bowling Green this weekend?

| Not sure who won but the stunners were playing the bluegrass elite at 1:45 in the first champ. game. Stunners needed to win 2. They were ahead 2-0 after 3 innings. Marshall Co. magic finished 4th and Heartland Thunder finished 3rd. |

Louisville Stunners won the 14U ASA State. After losing their first game, they went to loser's bracket and won 8 straight including 5 on Sunday without a break. It was a good field inlcuding Southern KY crush, Outlaws, Marshall Co Magic, BG Elite, Heartland Thunder, Rockers, Lady Colonals, etc.
Sluggers won 18,16 and 12. Stunners won 14. Marshall Co Magic won 10U |

Wow!!!! BlackJack you know way......2 tooo much about the Stunners14U as well as the Sluggers14U kind of scary.One guy to be that informed ....hmmmmmmmm.
Things that make you go hmmmmm... Seem to know alot about the O.C. but only named 2 out of the 3 pitchers.Missed one..that's what I.M. is for.Dude..the majic time cat was fishing,I think he caught something...Hook Line and sinker...Don't divulge personal info
i.e The kids name,the kids school or the kids coaches. |

| CC 14, I don't understand your sudden attack on Blackjack. If you asked me about any of the Bowling Green teams, I could give you all of the info you wanted because we've play with and against almost all of them. There doesn't have to be any evil behind it. Why pick an ASA Results thread to lauch this? Your comments have nothing to do with the results of the ASA tournament. |

I don't think anyone was fishing. I wish I was on the lake right now though. Don't get much time to fish since I like the ballpark. I guess I'll fish when I'm retired. Oh wait... My retirement is funding travel ball and bail outs...
Big Jake - I liked the Christian Co team. They looked young but competitive. They lost to BG Elite and Magic but looked good otherwise. |

Sorry Fellas,
This wasn't an attack just trying to keep the anonymity for the kids as well,we have it they should as well, not they need protection but when we start saying how great an individual is,we allow that individual to be ridiculed not soo much by us but others who have no sense....you know what I mean.People are mean it is in there nature to be hateful and disrespectful,so before we go on and tell everyone a name,a coach,or a school be prepared for an onslaught of bad comments.Black Jack sorry for misunderstanding I wasn't bashing you.Dude we are cool.Just trying to give the kids the same,as we have.The right to say what we think without being personally ridiculed.The comment with the black eye was,me saying I don't think it's cool..Wasn't being hateful or nasty just wary . |

True, it does open up for negative comments but this board seems to be more mature than the high school board and it is a smaller community (so far). I don't think players would get any negative attacks but the coach could (but he's a big boy, he can take it, LOL). I see your point. I was just answering a question. People are mean. Kids and their parents should never have to read anything negative about them in this setting. If it happens, we will have to call them out!
We don't want anyone crucified here like they did the Mercy coach, the Beth Haven coach and the Sportsreach coach. I like discussions like we have had with Magictime, ilikesoftball, bigjake, etc. |

I agree with you blackjack, I mostly follow teams in western ky and when I asked who the pitcher was I knew I had seen her before just wasnt sure where. She was very impressive just wondered where she played because I new she had to play somewhere. Not sure what bigjake was talking about. We have played 2-3 tournamnets with the outlaws and christian co. so I knwo all those kids and where they play HS. |

I like this board also. I do wish there was more activity but with that brings the BS that goes with the Prep board.
If there are unspoken rules, you all have to let me know. I didn't know that mentioning names or schools of "club" players was faux pas. Especially with travel teams where the kids could come from anywhere. I just didn't know there was an issue. If those are the ground rules, so be it.
Blackjack, is anyone really surprised that Christian Co. puts together a good travel team? I wish the people in our school system would pay attention to what it takes to field a good H.S. team. Start early, keep them together, and play top competition. A few have noticed, but not nearly enough. |
