COACHING CLINIC

DATE: SATURDAY, JANUARY 10 2009

WHERE: LOUISVILLE MERCY ACADEMY
5801 Fegenbush Lane

Fees: $ 90.00 /person pre registration
$ 100.00 / person at the door
$ 60 / full time student (age 23 and under)

** School purchase orders will be accepted**

Time: Registration from 7:30 am to 8:30 am EST.
Clinic sessions from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm

NO VIDEO CAMERAS ALLOWED

Speakers:
• Topic- Mechanics of hitting
o JAMES DEFEO – Associated head coach Louisiana State University

• Topics – Field play, Building team chemistry and how to deal with distractions
o TYRA PERRY – Head Coach WKU, Two time SEC Champ at LSU and former assistant coach at LSU

• Topics – Catching and Practice Organization
o AMY TUDOR – Head Coach Belmont

• Topics –Mental approach to hitting, base running and defending the short game
o STEPHINE DEFEO – Asst. Coach Ball State, 2005 & 2006 Manager of All American Softball Clinics and three time NFCA All American at Louisiana Lafayette

• Topic – Slapping, converting a righty to a lefty and defending a slapper
o JERIE ALEXANDER – Two time Sunbelt all-conference, 2002 NFCA All region and 1997 ASA 18 National Champion

• Topic – Pitching
o KIM DUNLAP BORDERS – Owner BSA Softball, instructor at Club K 5 years, trained at Club K 10 years, 2000 Sunbelt Pitcher of the year, Two time NFCA all region, four consecutive NCAA regional appearances at Unv. of Louisiana Lafayette, Four time High school all American and 1997 ASA 18 National Champion

Wow, attended the clinic in Nashville this weekend and there was alot of information. Well worth the money!
