I heard Impact did great last weekend. Finished 4th out of 20 or so in Tennessee exposure event. Overall went something like 7-2.

Maybe the Impact faithful can provide details.

Looks like the ASA Northern National in St. Louis has close to 60 teams now, including five from Kentucky.

Bluegrass Blaze, Kentucky Impact, Stunners 93, Stunners Red and Lyndon Lady Lightning.

Good luck to all Kentucky teams in St. Louis.

Cadence - Interesting observation about the 16U Stunner teams. Keep in mind, Several kids have been playing together for years. Several players have been with the same coaches for a while also. It's who you want to play for (coach) and who you want to play with (other players) that seems to prevail. You could conceivably take the best of all three teams but that would split up kids that have played together, etc. Probably wouldn't work. The Stunners93 coaches and several players have been together since 10U. Hard to split up but should be considered. Stunners Black (I think) are kids from Meade and Hardin Counties. Hard to split up.

Interesting fact: One Louisville high school (PRP) has multiple players on Stunners93, Stunners94 and Stunners Red. They could have their own summer team - PRP Stunners...

I read on line that the KY Impact is going to the ASA Northern Nationals in StLouis, MO this year. Looks like only 17 or so teams are entered there currently so they should have a good shot to win it. Anybody know where other teams are going for their Nationals? USSSA's World Series in Columbus, IN only has one team from KY entered. Seems like a lot of KY 16s don't go anywhere. What is going on in KY fastpitch softball?

Sluggers have an awesome pitcher from A.C.S. Coaches are from Campbellsville, over all a really tough Tm.Top notch 16U tm in the State.
Stunners Black
Stunners Red
Stunners 93
If they'd have a try out for just 2 Stunners Tms 16U,a 92 and a 93 they'd have an awesome lot right now they got Stunners MoMo,Stunners JoJo,and a Stunners BoBo...
not picking just an observation.obviously, not all are associated but cmon a little guidance here would go a long way.

I hear the Impact is playing in the Kentucky ASA State tournament in Bowling Green next week. I'm glad to see them playing in a challenging KY event. It will be a good measuring stick.

It is a nice place to play. Maybe a change in format to double elimination would draw more teams. Concessions are high. Many local teams still go because of location but they better make some changes...

Ft.Knox is an awesome facility one of the best in Ky but one of the worst formated Tournaments with some crazy gate fees and absurd prices for concessions. Why would you charge an 8 yrs old???? you'd get it in Concessions especially when a G-Aide is 2.50???
with the price you pay to get in the tourney as a team youd expect more .Teams have shy'd away from Ft.Knox because they don't draw anyone anymore 6 tms in an age bracket if your lucky, and you are gaurenteed to be there all day for 2 days .They will figure out a way to make a 4 tm tournament all weekend just to hit you for the gate fees.

Noticed only four teams at Ft.Knox and all four 16U looked to be REC teams. Do the better teams no longer play there? It has been several years since I have been there and back then it drew solid teams. 14U division seemed better than the 16s.
